An excellent way of pooling your effort is to cooperate
with us by sponsoring Baobab children's home,
the children education or also
our project with different quotas that range from
10€ to 20€ per month.
You can also collaborate with one-time donation to the
project or to the campaign going on at the time of your
donation.

Year 2008
 The
2009 Education for the Baobab Children’s Center
So that the children may continue with their education geared
towards a fulfilling development, which will allow them
to become full citizens and therefore, be able to undertake
the difficult road to escape poverty on their own, in which
they are submerged at the moment.
Purchase
of a school bus for the Baobab Children’s Center
The schools where the children study are located
far from where the children live. Up to this date, the problem
of transportation has been solved by renting a school bus.
However, the rental price is overwhelming, so this has led
us to decide to purchase meanings of transportation for
the center to use it as a school bus and also, during the
weekends, for other activities. With the requested amount
of 36.200€, this acquisition would be covered, as well
as the driver’s wages, gas, and a fund for potential
mechanical repairs.
The
maintenance of the Baobab Children’s Center in Arusha,
Tanzania
So that the children of the Baobab Children’s Center
may have a place to live with dignity, where they can develop
their intellectual and emotional capabilities in a family
environment, guaranteeing this way a future on their own.

Thanks to the customers’ generosity(Caja de Navarra
costumers) who voted our project, this branch will finance
during 2008 year with 118.663€ the cosntruccion of
the new center.
Education

Upon the presentation of the 2008 Education Project to the
Caja Navarra Social Work and thanks to the customers’
generosity who voted for our project, this branch has financed
with 17.751€ part of the education of the children.
The remaining has been acquired from the people, who already
sponsor the children.

with 4.424€ part of the education of the children.

CAMPAIGNS
CLOTHES FOR TANZANIA
During the months of September through December 2006 and
thanks to the cooperation of friends and acquaintances,
we collected over 200 kilos of clothing.
We needed 600 euros in order to send 100 kilos. Therefore,
we decided to place a few collection boxes in selected establishments.
The total collection was 660 euros.
The first parcel was of 115 kilos, which arrived in Tanzania
on January 12th 2007. The rest of the clothing has been
sent to Tanzania with tourists traveling to the country
during 2007.
We would like to thank all those participating in this campaign,
the people who donated the clothes as well as the establishments
that allowed us to place the collection boxes.

CHRISTMAS CARDS 2006-2007
Thanks to the volunteer cooperation of a group of excellent
illustrators and the printing company PRESS-LINE, which
printed these Christmas cards for free, 12 models of Christmas
cards in sets of 6 were marketed during Christmas 2006-2007.
The Christmas cards were sold online as well as several
establishments, which volunteer to sell them.
The amount collected is being channeled to secure the healthcare
of all the Baobab children's home
We would like to thank all the people participating in this
campaign as well as those who purchased our Christmas cards.
