Amigos de Tanzania is a Non-profit Organization, whose project is::

OUR GOAL

To directly help theAfya Project Association for the Blind and to create the Baobab children's home.

We believe that by focusing on small ventures we can find effective solutions. Therefore, our project is based on directly helping these associations with their daily tasks in order for the people depending from them to have access to a welcoming and family-like environment, to receive an education and the necessary resources to develop themselves as full citizens so that they are ready to face their individual future and lead a better life. With this, we aim to guarantee a better future for the country.

OUR WORK

Orphans Center "Baobab children's home"
We take care of the food for the children, health care and education of the 37 children between the age of 2 and 17 years old. Our objective is to build a new center where we can offer them a place to live and develop as full citizens.

Association for the Blind “Afya Project”
Our objective is to support this association by supplying them with devices for the blind, which are rare and hard to find in Tanzania. We also aim to assist them with the marketing of the products they make as an association (chairs, tables, belts, handbags, necklaces...) at the same time that we assist them with food, health care and education for their children.
