THE PROBLEM
Tanzania is widely known for being one of the most beautiful and wildest countries in Africa, which also suffers a cruel reality:
Poverty reaches a great portion of the population, mostly in the countryside and the city outskirts, keeping development from consolidating about the country. HIV-AIDS is to blame for much of this underdevelopment and suffering, as it is one of the greatest problems spreading rapidly today in Tanzania. A large number of children are affected by this disease as one of the parents will not be there for raising and educating them. In addition to this fact, the particularity of becoming orphan creates a greater danger for the children, as they are regarded as a heavy load by the rest of the family and therefore, many end up abandoned, having to face on their own physical and psychological abuse and future uncertainty.
